Goal Anchor is a free tool created by EcueSpeaks. This policy explains what happens with your information when you use it.

What we collect

Goal Anchor asks you to share personal information during the planning process — your values, your goal, barriers you are facing, and tasks you want to accomplish. Here is how that information is handled:

All of your responses are processed in your browser and sent to our AI plan generation service to build your personalized plan.
We do not store your goal, values, barriers, or tasks on any server.
Your session is saved locally in your browser (localStorage) so you can return to an in-progress session. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

AI plan generation

When you click "Build my plan," your responses are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a personalized action plan. Anthropic processes this data according to their own privacy policy. We do not retain a copy of your submission or the generated plan on our servers.

Google sign-in and Google Tasks

If you choose to use the "Send to Google Tasks" feature, Goal Anchor will ask you to sign in with your Google account. We request only the minimum permission needed: the ability to create tasks in Google Tasks on your behalf.

We do not access your email, contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.
We do not store your Google account credentials or access tokens.
The connection to Google Tasks is made directly from your browser. Your data goes from your device to Google — it does not pass through our servers.

Cookies and tracking

Goal Anchor does not use cookies. We do not run any analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking scripts.

Children's privacy

Goal Anchor is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
